We are looking for an Independent & Innovative Therapist to join our team.

Our Mission

To bring together like-minded therapists who practice relationship-based, person-centered, and experiential therapy, and who collaborate to create programs and initiatives that foster connection and make a positive impact in the community.

At ManMade Mentors, we believe therapy is most powerful when it’s rooted in connection—not just between therapist and client, but also among the providers who choose to walk this path together. Private practice doesn’t have to mean isolation. We are a collective of therapists who share responsibility for building something greater than ourselves: a supportive professional community and meaningful therapeutic programming.

We are seeking a highly self-reliant, innovative, and driven therapist who is passionate about translating therapeutic goals into real-world, functional activities. Your passion must extend beyond the 60-minute individual session to include developing and facilitating therapeutic functions and experiences—think skills-based groups, workshops, adventure therapy components, and family retreats. We believe meaningful growth can happen inside AND outside a traditional office setting.

Our ideal candidate is a self-starter that thrives in a supportive but independent environment. This person is either seeking to enter private practice or is already in private practice, but wants support with administrative functions (e.g. marketing, billing, etc.) collaboration with other therapists, and to be part of a collective that will allow them opportunities to grow professionally beyond the therapy room.

What You’ll Be Doing:

 * Clinical Caseload: Maintain a balanced caseload of individual, family, and/or couple’s sessions, primarily focused on teens, adult men, and their families.

 * Program Development: Design and lead innovative, non-traditional therapeutic functions (e.g., wilderness excursions, men's groups, skills workshops) that reinforce clinical objectives.

 * High Autonomy: Manage your own schedule and caseload with high independence. We provide the infrastructure; you provide the initiative and clinical excellence.

 * Collaboration: Work with like-minded therapists on our team and a dedicated admin but primarily operate as a self-managed expert in your domain.

 * Documentation: Maintain timely and ethical clinical documentation.

What We're Looking For (The Essentials):

 * Licensure: Fully licensed as an LCPC, LCSW or LMFT in the state of Montana (or license-eligible with a clear plan for immediate licensure).

 * Niche Expertise: Demonstrated experience and passion for working with teens, men's issues, and complex family dynamics.

 * Self-Reliance is Non-Negotiable: You must be highly capable of working independently, managing your time, and driving your own success without constant oversight.

 * The "Outside" Mindset: A genuine enthusiasm for developing and implementing therapeutic functions and groups outside of standard individual talk therapy. Tell us what you want to build, and we will provide structure and support.

 * Ethical & Authentic: Committed to ethical practice, authenticity, and straightforward communication. No fluff.

 * Pay Range: Based on caseload. We encourage an average weekly caseload of 20-25 clients.

We are direct, dedicated, and believe in functional, measurable mental wellness. If you’re tired of rigid practice models and want to serve a demographic that is often underserved, this is your chance to build something impactful with an established practice.
